Treatment and delivery are handled by regulated partners: a GPhC-registered pharmacy and a CQC-registered clinical provider*. Here is exactly who regulates what, and how to check.

eMed is a member of the Digital Clinical Excellence (DiCE) network, a UK network of online healthcare providers founded in 2019 to improve quality and safety in digital care. Membership is not a regulatory approval.

The Care Quality Commission is the regulator of health and social care services in England.

Clinical provider
Clinical, consultation and prescribing services are provided by eMed (a trading name of Babylon Healthcare Services Limited), a CQC-registered provider (provider ID 1-1690359844), registered for the regulated activity ‘treatment of disease, disorder or injury’. All eMed clinicians are registered with their UK professional regulator. You can check the registration on the CQC website.
Prescriptions
Treatment is prescription-only and is prescribed only where a clinician decides it is suitable.
